Russell W. Beall is a founding partner in the Baton Rouge law firm of Beall & Thies LLC. His main emphasis of practice is on civil litigation including torts, product liability, premises liability and family law. Mr. Beall is a frequent guest speaker at Louisiana State University Law School where he participates in the Appellate Advocacy Program and Professionalism Orientation. He earned his B.A. degree at Louisiana State University (1998) and his JD at Louisiana State University Law School (2001).
Mr. Beall is a member of the Board of Governors of the Louisiana Association for Justice and a member of the Louisiana State and Baton Rouge Bar Association. Mr. Beall is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars and has been a contributing author to several legal journals.
Mr. Beall has a highly successful “track record” in trial litigation, having won every jury trial he has maintained first chair position. Mr. Beall has participated in multiple cases where the judgment or settlement secured exceed $1,000,000.00. In consideration of his very high legal ability and ethical standards, Mr. Beall has been awarded a “BV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating service.
Mr. Beall’s father is a retired pastor and his mother is likewise retired.
Mr. Beall was born and raised in the Baton Rouge area before relocating to Livingston Parish more than a decade ago. Mr. Beall was fortunate enough to marry Kathy Vernaci Logan, a lawyer with the Attorney General’s Office for the State of Louisiana, on June 7, 2012 and is now privileged to help parent her two beautiful children. Russell is the proud father of what is now seven children and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Beall enjoys all outdoor activities and is usually always training for the next physical challenge whether it is earning his next belt in martial arts or training for a triathlon. However, without a question, his favorite activity is watching his children compete on any team or competitive event.
